Jasper's BBQ Catering

We held an event for 130 people, and we were delighted with the food and the customer service. Our many emails to Mike prior to the event were all answered quickly, and our requests in terms of tweaking the menu (ingredients, additions, substitutions, supplies) were always accommodated; a number of items were also provided at no extra cost. The staff person came on time and set up quickly. Many guests commented positively on the food. The cost, moreover, was reasonable, especially after comparing other caterers, and although the final headcount/plates used may have exceeded our estimate, we were only charged for the prior estimate. All in all, it was good food, no hassle, and a very fair price.

We had an outside wedding yesturday. Yes it was a casual wedding however it was a wedding none the less. Black,what looked like dirty, t-shirts and jeans are not appropriate.

They said they were going to bring a BBQ cooker and a steamer for clams. They were not brought and an immediate family member was told he didn't want to bring his steamer for the clams that were cold when served, because it was too much of a hassel. There was supposed to be enough for 100 people, we only had 65 people there were almost no leftovers. There should have been enough leftovers for 35 people.

We paid for an extra server to make it 3 people but it was only the 2 men that showed up. It was supposed to be 4 hours, they got here at 4:15p and left to catch the 6:40 ferry back to Seattle. I got alot of feed back that the food was full of bees and not kept covered and cold. I was lead to believe that he was going to be using chaffing dishes not foil pans without proper covers. There were no waterpans under the cooking pans and the food burnt onto the foil pans.

I will never use these people again it was embarrassing and very disapointing.
