Shelby High School is a part of Cleveland County Schools, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. Shelby High School serves students in grades 10 through 12. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as civics, economics, chemistry, English and history. It offers foreign language programs in Spanish, French and Latin. The school operates several student organizations, such as the National Honor Society and chess, photography, art and drama clubs. It also provides a variety of sports activities, including football, volleyball, basketball, baseball, tennis, golf, wrestling, soccer, swimming, cross country, and track and field. In addition, the school provides several extracurricular programs in art, music, orchestra, band, chorus and drama. The school is located in Shelby, N.C.
