I recently attended a wedding for one of my friends at Catlin Gardens. We stayed at the Catlin Gardens Inn the night before the wedding and the night of the wedding. We ate at the restaruant inside the hotel, Jack's Pub, and it was delicious. My Husband had the steak with mashed potates and I had the penne a la vodka. The service was excellent. Anything we asked for they had no trouble getting us. The bartenders were great to talk to all night and kept us entertained. The wedding itself was gorgeous. The food was excellent and the caterers did such an amazing job. The bride and groom and all the guest seemed very satistfied with how everything turned out. The hotel itself is amazing. The front desk staff did such a good job og taking care of what we needed. As soon as i called down to the front desk for extra towels, someone was up within minutes delivering them to us. Before we left we had lunch at Jack's Pub, and it was just as good as dinner was. The burgers and salads were delicious. I would reccommend this anybody wanting a nice place to get away, not just to people going for a wedding. I plan on making a trip back myself to have weekend getaway.

- The Gardens on Catlin Creek is a banquet facility featuring a 1860s-style Victorian manor house and more than 5-acres of surrounding garden areas. The facility provides a venue for hosting various events, such as wedding ceremonies, cocktail receptions, small group workshops and photographic sessions. It accommodates more than 200 seated guests with an additional cocktail area for larger parties. Various wedding menus are available, including the manor, paramount and royal packages. Its menus include various dishes, such as grilled chicken with artichokes and sun-dried tomatoes, herb-roasted loin of pork, slices London broil with red wine and mushroom sauce, seafood stuffed fillet of sole, poached fillet of salmon with Champagne sauce, penne primavera with garlic sauce and seafood Newburg in puff pastry. It also offers various desserts, such as chocolate mousse, rice pudding, brownies sundae, and seasonal fruit and coconut custard pies. The Gardens on Catlin Creek is located in Slate Hill, N.Y.
