Another Look Hair Braiding

I went in to get jumbo box braids that I've had twice before the only reason i stopped here is bc the lady that usually does them was busy first off my hair was a mess they just threw it together the back was way bigger than the front the back was Parted any kind of way and I was told $180 over the phone but $200 when I got there there was an older lady Doing the front and a younger lady doing the back the older lady nagged and complained about the younger lady the entire time they did my hair making me very uncomfortable I did not get her name but anytime the girl would adjust the chair for her convenience she would get an attitude and readjust it bc she wanted to sit down the whole time not once considering the customer and that this is her job I usually keep my braids a total 2 1/2 maybe 3 months but here it is not even a month later and my braids look a mess and I cannot wait to take them down I will never go back to get anything done on my head very dissatisfied customer

For crochet braids this is NOT the place! I arrived 30 minutes before my appointment time. I showed a picture of the style that I wanted to the lady (didn't get her name..as no one said hello or bothered to say their name). I was assured that they could do the style that I showed to them (I showed the picture to two different ladies). Needless to say 3 hours later my hair looked NOTHING like the picture. My hair was huge! When I asked the stylist about it she said it would go down once I tied a scarf around it. This was my first time getting crochet braids but I'm not stupid..she put way too much hair in my head and refused to correct her mistake. I walked out of the salon very unhappy looking like a lion. I also noticed where my scalp is wrinkled in spots from the braids being too tight. Two days later and I had to remove it all. i will NOT go back to this palace again.

Excellent!! 100 % satisfaction, even when I had a few slips avweek later due to my hair beingvso thin, and short, replaced at novextra cost up to a week later, katie is the manaager/owner, very professional, extremely,accomodating, very,pleasant, comfortable, relaxed, atmosphere atmosphere for a braid salon.���� will be goung back, both my daughter, and I!

I always braid my hair at Another Look. The service I get there is outstanding. Miss Katie, the owner is very accommodating of my time constraints and does a great job for me! If you want to be able to sleep after fresh new braids or weave then give Another Look a try. I have had my hair braided elsewhere and couldn't sleep a wink because it was too tight.

They also do a great job with kids. My toddler loves going to see Miss Katie.

I always have my hair braided here cuz the customer service is good,price is reasonable and my hair is always done to my satisfaction on time even without appointment.I strongly recommend this shop

I went to get crochet braids...I thought everything was going to go well but NO!! The lady who was doing my hair first put the wrong color in my hair, then the owner asked her about it and I agreed to just mix the color just for her sake of not starting over-strike 1x. Next I thought she was finished and when I went to pay, and I left her a nice tip, the owner noticed that the back wasn't done so if I would have tried to put it in a pony tail I wouldn't be able to without being exposed. The owner requested that she finish the job. She didn't want to. Strike 2xx she started on the back, kept complaining abt how tired and hungry she was. I was very tired and hungry also!! I work for a hospital and I work long hours, I had just gotten off work and came straight there tired and hungry just to get my hair done by them. I had called them before I left work so they knew I was coming. As soon as the owner left she did a bad rush job on the back of my head, and rushed me out of the chair. She didn't even want to put my hair up so that I could see it, I had to do it myself!! Don't go here because you might get her!! She was so wrapped up in her own feelings, that she couldn't be professional enough to finish the job correctly and she was paid a tip for a bad attitude and bad service!!
