Rail City Garden Center

Had an issue with two 5-6" diameter Green-Ash trees in my front yard. After back 'n forth e-mails with photos, etc., we agreed on a fee for Rail City to come and examine the trees; which, was performed by the owner of Rail City. It was determined that a certain insect was in the soil and responsible for the less than 50% of the typical foliage on those trees. I asked for a price to treatment. I was told he would send me a cost estimate when he returned to the retail center. No e-mail, no estimate after two weeks. I called, was told he (owner) has been busy but assured me he would get back to me. Two more weeks went by again. I called again and was told the same story. No one ever called me or e-mailed me an estimate. What horrible service! Never again.

On 6/9/2017 we bought 3 Potentilla at $26 each from Sheila, was NEVER offered the 2 year plant gaurrantee. All 3 have died and called and talk to the owner. He basically said go piss up a rope. All sales are final. I explained that I was never offered their 2 year gaurantee but he did not care. Back to Home Depot for all my plants. They will take it back for a year. 1st and last tile I go to Rail City Nursery.

Rail city Garden is such a awesome place. How could you not love it !!! the people are great !! clean environment , so many things to choose from. very organized and tidy !
I believe this is one beautiful place it is alot of fun .

This nursery has a large selection of plants and decorative items. Most of the staff is helpful. The owner and manager however, are another matter, brusk, and argumentative. They also do not stand behind their plants unless they plant them.
