Represented general contractor on MSHA violations arising out of wrongful death action in blasting operations on highway project. Successfully defended contractor to achieve no violations result.
Sex Crimes
A medical malpractice action against Defendant psychiatrist for sexual molestation during course of treatment and against the admitting hospital. Represented the Plaintiff who was a former patient of the Defendants. Settlement against Defendant psychiatrist at close of Plaintiff's case with a jury verdict returned against Defendant Hospital for negligent supervision/hiring.

He began his legal career as a Deputy District Attorney in Weld County, Colorado, where he tried nearly forty jury trials in five years. He is an experienced trial litigator who zealously advocates for his clients.

Construction on federal projects often involves claims against the general contractor’s payment bond required under the Federal Miller Act. Litigation under the Miller Act requires litigation in federal court, which in turn brings with it a unique set of rules and procedures. Represented a would-be purchaser of real property in Grant County, Washington intended for residential development in a case involving claims of breach of real estate purchase and sale agreement and rescission/restitution. Prevailed on summary judgment in rescinding the disputed purchase and sale agreement.

Construction Projects often involve property damage or personal injury losses that require working with insurance carriers to achieve coverage of the loss and reimbursement for the damage. Contractors and Subcontractors are oftentimes required to indemnify others for damage arising out of or related to the work and a detailed understanding of coverage under Builders Risk Policies, General Liability Policies, WRAP or OCIP policies is necessary. Drawing upon 25 plus years of experience, our attorneys are knowledgeable about insurance coverage issues and have successfully obtained insurance coverage for our clients on multi-million dollar losses in which coverage was originally denied by the carriers. We have a sophisticated understanding of the roles and responsibilities of various participants in the construction process, and the contractual and legal rights and remedies of the parties.
