Redeemed Music & Books

Unlike EncourageOneAnothers experience at Redeemed (which seemed quite discouraging), my experiences have been nothing but positive. I regularly shop there once every week or two (and have for years) and I have always found the staff courteous and helpful. In my opinion, it is the best Christian bookstore in Springfield. Because they are always getting in new books, dvds and cds I usually find several treasures every time I am there. I highly recommend checking out this bookstore. I would give them more stars if I could.

I went to pick up and pay for an online reserved book purchase. 2 of the 3 staff were very ill-mannered, borderline rude. Not all the books reserved online were available because they were purchased before we arrived. Rather than explain nicely how the online book order works (or fails to work, when it shows the books are available for purchase but really are not), I was sharply rebuked for not knowing the policy and was put down for the lack of knowledge. What happened to nicely apologizing and nicely explaining things? The other bad encounter was the person checking to see about buy back for books. This person acted very agitated and rude. I like the store and the discount on the books and things, but the help there needs some training or lose their jobs!
