John M. Porter Memorial Branch is a library located in Stafford, Va. Founded in 1992, the library maintains a collection of more than 120,000 books. It offers educational and research material for children, students and adults. It operates clubs and organizations that conduct a range of events, including book discussions, story sessions and reading programs. John M. Porter Memorial Branch also organizes monthly art exhibitions of local artists. It provides reference desk services and computer and Internet access. Its 23,000-square-foot facility includes a study space and activity room. In addition, the library has a meeting room to host a variety of programs, such as board meetings, business conferences and social events. John M. Porter Memorial Branch is a part of Central Rappahannock Regional Library.
