Certified Transmissions

my truck towed there thurs morning for free diagnose nquote. I called the next day to see whats going on they said they will call me back they looking at it. Still no call. I called Sat and they said they lookin at it and it will be ready on Mon. I called monday and he said they looking at it and will call me back in 15min. I said no yall been saying this since thurs. Then Jimmy yelled at me and said," i told you give me 15min i will call u back!" and then he hung up.i called back that afternoon he told me he is not discussing anything with me.He said he doesnt care and hung up in my face! Then i called back he said the truck will be fixed at 2pm come pick it up! I said i didnt authorize u to fix it only for a quote. He hung up in my face. i arrive there the next day he said he hadnt started on my truck. I said why did u lie. He said it doesnt matter what he told me on the phone its irrelevant and do u want me to fix your car or not! I thought to myself this dude is sick!.

Terrible experience: lie after lie. CONSUMERS BEWARE. Will not go into details, owner who is not at this location, tried to make it right after 5 weeks. Not satisfied,but at least I could get my unfixed vehicle back without an attorney.

The people was nice took my 1978 Chevy there they did a great job.I had a small problem he towed truck from my job to the shop to fix.I would definitely recommend everybody to visit here with any transmission problem.

This place is horrible. I called them from a listing from the internet. They towed my car in on Friday. No one notified me they had received my car. Long story short. I called, and they kept telling me that I need to talk to James. I went to the shop and they said, they don't have anything to do with my car. They said, I need to call James. They stated, they use a referral company to get business. He quote you$1100 then $1900. He wanted a deposit. I told Jimmy the manager that I 'm taking my car somewhere else. He then explain the story about the referral company they use. He then said, he will fix my car on Wednesday because he had a doctor appointment on Tuesday. In the mean time the car had been sitting there since Friday. I had my car towed to another shop. They are rude, unprofessional, and liars. I think they are all in together. Take your car at your own risk!

I called this place at 8 oclock. everything seemed cool. he (johnny) said bring the car in for a free inspection. i brung thec car in at 8. he said give him a few hours. i called at 12 asked about car.. " were on lunch we will look at it after lunch". i called again at 3 asked whats up with my car. he gave me attitude talking about my didnt start and i didnt give him time to look at it. he had a bad attitude. dude was a real whiney b***h. right after the convo i went up there to get my car. when i walk in this guy is on his phone. when " i didnt give him enough time" but he had enough time to talk on the phone. i dont recommend this place to anybody in there right mind. but i DO recomment he watch his mouth and how he talk to people before somebody put their hands on him

I have a chevy blazer i took it into there shop because i had looked around and they were the lower than others. but only a year later i have more transmissions issues and that shouldnt be. i payed for it to be rebuild and they didn't do a good job with it. i think that i could have done a better job than they did. i would never let this shop touch my car again. even if it was free to fix it. the owner of certified transmissions Jimmy had a attidude!!!

I took my car there to Certified Transmissions, they wanted to say they would guarantee me a set price for repairing it, even without knowing what was actually wrong with it! In other words, had they taken it off and something was only loose, they would still charge me the guaranteed price! Took my car to Mr. Transmissions and they not only repaired it BUT was half the price! These guys are rude at Certified Transmissions as well! No respect!

Not only did they drain my full tank of gas after leaving it with them for 4 hours, they were very rude, unprofessional and full of themselves. These guys from NYC (two of the workers there are brothers from Queens NY) are terrible at what they do and are very QUICK to overcharge you to the fullest degree, with no compunctiton what so ever!
