Service Thurman's Transmission

From the first phone call to the last conversation, I was treated like a friend. The guys were great! They called and explained to me the problem and had me authorize the repair before they got started. The quote I got was exactly how much it was. No added fees or parts, exact means down to the penny. Not to mention when I picked up my truck, I noticed the difference immediately. It’s running and shifting as smooth as a baby’s bottom. I can’t say enough about these guys. I will HIGHLY recommend Thurman’s to anyone I come in contact with.

Got the family heading to Florida for spring break 2016, blew what we thought was transmission. Thurmans was highly recommended. Turns out it was a pinion gear, a lot less than a new tranny! They don't usually work on those but they did for us. Honestly, they could have told us anything we would had believed it. OUTSTANDING!! Doug and the Gebben family.

We have used them twice. The last time we went we had to have our transmission rebuilt. They did a great job at a reasonable price. We were going on vacation pulling a camper to Florida and they had it done when they said it would be done. They are a very busy place so you might have to wait a little while but I wouldn't go anywhere else...great people.

My husband and I were referred to Thurmans by West Auto for my daughters transmission repair. Thurman's replaced the transmission back in June 2010 at a very reasonable price. They are very honest and did a great job. I have had to bring the car back a couple of times and they stood by the warranty and fixed the problem.



I would highly recomend Thurman's to my family and friend's. 247,000 miles on her Honda Accord and still going strong. Thanks Thurman's!

This shop has great customer service, something I was beginning to think Georgia lacked. I was expecting to pay top dollars because I was a desperate female with a broke down vehicle. The owner was honest and went above and beyond to repair my car. I would definitely go back if I needed to, although I hope I don't. Thanks guys.

I was referred to Thurmans through a friend of a friend of a friend. Not exactly the most comfortable position ,but I was told they were the best around. I had been experiencing a problem for about three months and had been hoping it wasnt too serious, but preparing for the worst. So I took it to them Wed. Sept 14 ,dropped it off so they could diagnose the nature of the problem . They kept it overnight , and the next day I got a call at about 9:30 am , it turns out it wasnt very serious at all at that point , it had the potential to be had it gone unfixed. I was told I had a bad gasket and a bent pan. That was music to my ears ,and exactly what I wanted to hear. I gave them the go ahead and 4 hrs. later I picked it up and it drives like a dream. Very satisfied ,and I'd reccomend them to anyone in need of transmission work.



I waited three weeks after the work was done to write this, still no problems and am thoroughly satisfied

I have had several transmissions fixed by Thurman's Transmission and I have not had any problems out of them. He even built the transmission in my '68 Camaro, which is a Pro Street Car, and I have not had any trouble out of it, even after racing it every weekend. He is a honest and sincere guy and does excellent work.

I highly recommend Thurman's Transmission to anybody.

I have had several vehichles worked on by Thurmans Transmission all with the same result, excellent quality work. I recomend this shop to all my family and friends. Thurman's has an excellent rating with the BBB as well.

I had a great experience at Thurman's my car stop going and they fix my transmission for a affordable price and fast amount of time.I have driven about 24000 mile since the repair and everything is working great .I would recommend Thurman's to anyone who wants quality honest repair of their car.

Thurman's uses the cheapest parts available, and will tell u they are dealer quality. I payed $1200 to have my clutch replaced last year and it has already gone out again. I have owned nothing but manual transmission cars and i am not hard on the clutch in any way. This is a repair that should have lasted several years at least! Unfortunatly, it went out a month after the warranty expired. I had a family friend ( who is an experienced mechanic) do the repair work this time and he was shocked at the quality of the work and parts used. Unless you like throwing your money away, do not waste your time with Thurman's.
