Ambiance Hair Salon

I think I may have found my hair salon in Tallahassee. I've been here for a little over four years and have yet to find a hairstylist that I like. I'm heading out of town for a business trip and in need of a trim. I called several places and left messages. Ambiance was the only one that called me back. Derenda, the owner, was very professional and friendly. I spent a little over an hour at the shop. I love the way she styled my hair. And, of course, I enjoyed chatting with her and her daughter. I will return and recommend her business to others.

I had the worse experience of my life. I had been going to this salon off and on for several years. One day, the owner of the salon saw me, of course my hair had been done by another prominent stylist in the city who by the way did an excellent job of styling my hair. Dorinda begged me to come back to this salon and assured me she could do an excellent job as well. After several conversations, I did. The WORSE MISTAKE OF MY LIFE! I had already had a problem area, and twice I allowed Dorinda to put glue on my hair because of that problem area. This morning as I am on my way to another salon, I put oil on my hair to remove the glued area, low and behold I have NO hair there! I would say to anyone and eveyone, IF AT ALL POSSIBLE, IF YOU WANT YOUR OWN HAIR, DONT LET ANYONE PUT GLUE ON IT, ESPECIALLY ON A ALREADY PROBLEM SPOT! That being said, I will never return to this salon again.
