I moved here 5 years ago from Oklahoma and had purchased an SUV after being here just a few months. Well, as you can guess, in the past 2 years things started going wrong with my SUV. Well, I had heard about this guy in Ventura that was supposed to be the best and I called. Well, he told me to come over and he would check it to see what was wrong with it. He checked it with his machines and then gave me the bad news. You know where you sit there and wait on the bomb to drop on what's wrong with your vehicle and it's gonna cost you an arm and a leg along with your first born. It wasn't like that at Auto Electric. He hooked up his machine and did whatever it is that they do and fixed my problem immediately. My check engine light kept coming on and I couldn't figure out what was wrong with my truck. I had taken it to several places that supposedly "fix the problem" and was told by several others that they had "reset" the light. It never worked, so I took it to Auto Electric and it turned out that if you don't screw on the gas cap tight enough, your check engine light can come on. It turns out that I had to replace the gas cap and the problem was fixed instantly. He didn't charge me a bundle to check my car, the parts, labor or anything. As I recall I ended up paying about $20.00 for all this and there was no hassle. So, as I said, if your looking for a great place to take your vehicle, without a hassle, take it to Auto Electric of Ventura. Be sure and grab a dog biscuit for the owners dog, he greets all the customers. He's a very friendly and cute dog although he looks like a puppy, he's small and loves his job.
