Moses Y. Beach Elementary School was named to honor an inventor, cabinetmaker and civic philanthropist. The school s campus includes an auditorium, stage, cafeteria, playground and more than 20 classrooms. It provides a variety of educational programs for the academic, physical, intellectual and spiritual development of students in prekindergarten through grade five. Moses Y. Beach Elementary School offers a variety of extracurricular activities, such as student council, school newspaper, drama, band, chorus, and homework, art and sign language clubs. It also offers family literacy programs and has a parent-teacher association that sponsors several cultural arts and family events. The school additionally provides English as a Second Language, remedial reading and STEP programs. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, including language arts, music, art, math, science and social studies. Located in Wallingford, Conn., Moses Y.
