After graduating from the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio, Dr. Rugwani did his internship in Internal Medicine at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. For his specialization in Ophthalmology, he chose to attend the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and received his training at several major hospitals including Parkland Hospital, Children's Medical Center of Dallas, Zale Lipshy Hospital and the Veterans Hospital of Dallas.

        He makes me feel very comfortable and at ease i dont feel juust like a number. He is more than just my eye Dr he has become my friend. He makes me laugh and has helped me trough some rough times when my husband passed
