Independence Back

The people at the front desk are, particularly the male (Sean) who deals with appointments is one of the rudest people I have ever come into contact with. The guy has hung up on me on several occasions, and I have even witnessed him being rude and condescending to old people who were waiting in line in front of me. If you call to talk to your care giver, you never get a call back. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for pain management. They have a very unprofessional staff. Dr. Wall is one of the bright spots in this place though.

Both my mother-in-law & mother are patients at this practice. My mother-in-law has received several epidural injections that has allowed her to get back to her daily activities. They both rave about the quality care they get & love the medical staff. Highly recommend.

I have been going there for years. I have never had anything but a great experience. I have to get back injections every few months and they get me back to feel 100%.

I totally agree with the staff inadequacies. They don't seem to care about ordering your referrals in a timely mater as they are not the ones in pain. No follow up to see that things are processed or how you are feeling or checking on MRI results to get you scheduled. Dr asst acts as though you are doing something wrong to cause your pain so oh well sorry I don't know what to tell you. Really! What did you go to medical school for? Check into things further to Find the problem. Go elsewhere!!!

Horrible experience. Very impersonal staff- 'my pain was not their problem. They have lots of patients in pain'. My doctor had to speak to their doctor just to get me in for spinal injections within 2 weeks (I could not return to work until I was better). Day of appt, front desk staff was rude, slammed window closed on be several times; I actually had to ask did I do something to offend them to be treated so rudely. They were mad bc I didn't bring my driver with me, instead she was supposed to meet me when I was done. This was unacceptable and they refused to see me unless someone was here with me at time of check in. I had to call a taxi driver to come and sit with me so they would take me back and do my procedure, even though my friend was taking me home. I started sobbing in waiting room at the frustration and stress they were causing. They said if nobody was here for my appt time, I would have to be rescheduled. The taxi driver signed for me.



In the back, was just as bad. Doctors assistants were cold and uncaring when I was scared and in pain. Doctor came in as asked "what my problem was", I told him I was scared about spinal needle. He said they do this all day long and do I want this done or not. I agreed bc I was desperate to get out of pain. He said I have to lay flatter on my stomach if I want it done and actually pushed my hips down flatter. Nobody explained the procedure. I was told I don't get any pain meds, even though I could be in MORE pain after the procedure. The procedure burned real bad several times and then he was done within 5 min. When they sat me up, the assistants said I could go and did not even walk me to the waiting room to my ride. I hobbled out myself, unsure where to go or if I could even walk after the Lidocaine injection in my spine!!

I am so happy I found this place. Since going to them they have been able to ease my neck and back pain, only wished I had gone to them sooner! My doctor has a great personality & you can tell he truly cares. They're AMAZING & have worked wonders on me!

Don't go to these Doctors. Disrespectful Physicians assistant and his nurse. treat you like you are a lying about your pain and you are a drug seeker.
