During his time at SUNY, Dr. Kropf grew his clinical expertise in several fields, including pediatrics, contact lenses andÂ ocular disease.Â He went on to complete a three-month rotation at the Newington VA Hospital in Connecticut, where he helped veterans with a wide variety of ocular disease such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma and macular degeneration.Â Additionally, he completed a three-month rotation at Downtown Eyecare, an optometry/ophthalmology practice in Brooklyn, New York, where he managed a large and varied population of patients and gained experience in managing post surgeries including cataract extractions and laser surgeries.Â Dr. Kropf also completed a rotation in California at Family Vision Care, a primarily pediatric practice where he gained expertise in myopia control and vision therapy.

This occurs when one or more of the bones around the eyeball break, often caused by a hard blow to the face - such as by a baseball or a fist. This is a major injury and should be assessed by an eye doctor, like Dr. Adam Kropf, along with X-Rays or CT scan imaging to help confirm the diagnosis.
