Dental Care
It is important to have your pet checked for dental disease, as this disease can have major impacts on your pet’s organs, including the heart, liver, and kidneys. Typically, after the age of 2 or 3, most dogs and cats will need a dental every 1 to 2 years. Assessment by your veterinarian will allow you to discuss your pet’s dental health and if excessive plaque or periodontal disease requires a cleaning.
Vaccination
Vaccines help prepare the body's immune system to fight the invasion of disease-causing organisms. Vaccines contain antigens, which look like the disease-causing organism to the immune system but don't actually cause disease. When the vaccine is introduced to the body, the immune system is mildly stimulated. If a pet is ever exposed to the real disease, their immune system is now prepared to recognize and fight it off entirely or reduce the severity of the illness. Vaccines help pets live longer, healthier lives. Protecting your pet is our primary goal, so developing an appropriate vaccine schedule for your pet is important to us. Nutritional Counseling
Heartworm is a worm that resides in the heart and lungs of infected dogs and cats. It is carried by mosquitos who transmit heartworm larva into the bloodstream of the pet when they bite them. These larva then develop into adult worms that over time cause heart disease and respiratory problems in dogs. In cats, the signs can be more vague including vomiting, coughing, weight loss and sudden death.

Parasites Treatment and Control
The first step in intestinal parasite prevention is appropriate deworming of puppies and kittens early in life. Young animals acquire intestinal parasites from their mother while in her uterus or through her milk. Therefore, a large percentage of puppies and kittens are infected with intestinal parasites at the time they are adopted. Puppies and kittens should be dewormed every 2-3 weeks until they are 12 weeks old. Animals that are older should be dewormed at least twice when they are first adopted.

Given a year after the last dose of the initial series, then every other year. Core cat vaccine. Feline distemper is a severe contagious disease that most commonly strikes kittens and can cause death.

Diarrhea Treatment
At least 3 doses, given between 8 and 16 weeks of age, 3-4 weeks apart. Puppies need a booster 1 year after completing the initial series, then all dogs need a booster every other year or more often. Core dog vaccine. Canine "parvo" is contagious, and can cause severe vomiting and bloody diarrhea. Parvo is usually fatal if untreated.

Rhino is caused by Equine Herpes Virus (EHV). It is divided in to subtypes EHV-1 and EHV-4. It causes a variety of clinical disease, including abortion, weak or stillborn foals, acute neurologic disease and upper respiratory disease. It is highly contagious from horse to horse via nasal secretions and can live in the environment for at least 14 days. The vaccines do not protect against the neurologic form of the disease. However, the vaccines may help reduce spread of the disease from horse to horse. Booster bi-annually (or more frequently if warranted).

Tetanus is a progressive and often fatal disease caused by the bacteria Clostridium tetani, which is ubiquitous in the environment.
