Thee Olde Place

This hidden treasure is a real gem of a little place! Located south of Pittsburgh, it is nestled in an out of the way area of Baldwin Boro. This area, long ago, as I recall, was home to some of Pennsylvania's coal industry. It has wonderful freshly prepared soups, salads and sandwiches at lunchtime, and a nice variety of dinner dishes that would please any gourmet. The staff is always pleasant and the atmosphere is too! We've been going there more, recently, since they no longer Pennsylvania no longer allows smoking in restaurants. The small dining room off the bar is now much more cozy and inviting since it is now smoke free!
