Provided by SuperpagesMy dining partner & I were very excited to try the Mercury, since we've heard so much about it, but regretted it afterwards. We enjoyed the fresh bread with pate at the start of the meal, but then everything went downhill from there. We tried the 48 hour braised rib as the appetizer, the meat was extremely tender, but zero flavor. The entree I had the salmon, which was a beautiful piece of fish, but it was overdone & paired with pickled veggies & guacamole - very odd combination that didn't work. The other entree was a fish special, which again was overdone & came with a side of "foam" - the special was twice the price of the other entrees - outrageous $58. The atmosphere is beautiful, but it is definitely a "see & be seen" kind of place - all hype, no substance, overpriced - disappointed.

Provided by SuperpagesI love the Mercury Grill. It's one of my favorite restaurants in Dallas and have spent several birthday celebrations there (for either myself or friends). The food is outstanding - the chef will make special risotto for you - and the best, best, best part is the chocolate lava cake for dessert. On a date or with friends, the Mercury is always a fabulous place to go for dinner.

Provided by SuperpagesWe love going to the Mercury Grill. The food is consistently great!....the Martinis even better. My favorite is the Salmon, fixed anyway. I love the pear salad and the desserts are beautiful and always wonderful. The servers are very experienced. Beautiful atmosphere. We have introduced the Mercury to clients as well as friends and family. They are always impressed. It is a five star in my book!

Provided by SuperpagesMercury is a consistently-wonderful restaurant. I've had several birthday celebrations there, for myself or for friends, and the service is always impeccable and the food fantastic. Make sure you finish off your meal with their chocolate lava cake and warning....you will NOT want to share!!
