Art Adams was just as great as everyone who referred us said they would be. We were very pleased with their services and I will definitely call them again.

Their free $59 estimate (with repair) was $35 more than they quoted me over the phone. That's because they slip in an extra diagnosis fee – which will slip their mind until they hand you the bill. Also, they missed their first appointment. I waited from 10 am to 4 pm, and finally got a call at 4:30 that they'd have to reschedule. Shame on you Art Adams!
All of our customers are informed of the service call & diagnostic fee over the phone and once again when the technician is at the home.

Took them two weeks and three visits to fix our dryer. The first visit, the guy said he needed to order a part - fair enough. The second visit, he came out with the part, but nobody had bothered to check if it was the right part, or if the kit was complete, so he had to re-order it, requiring another trip.
On his last visit, he got it fixed. The technician (John #6) was a nice enough guy. But . . . his last visit coincided with garbage day. He parked his van on the street in front of the house. The garbage guys came, emptied our can and then placed it on the street in front of his van. He had to walk around the can to get into his van - I watched him. Then he started his van and pulled forward, knowing the can into the middle of the street. He pulled into the neighbor's driveway across the street to do a Y-Turn, then backed into the street . . . running over the garbage can AGAIN! Then he drove away.
Impossible that he didn't see the garbage can - twice. Don't know why he decided to take out his frustration on a defenseless garbage can, but it was a jerk move.
In response to Mr. Bob's review: Unfortunately in this case the part ordered from the manufacturer had arrived wrong in the box. We have no records of our technician running over or taking out any emotions on Mr. Bob's garbage can.

Called early in the am to get an appointment scheduled. Gentlemen who answered the phone scheduled the appointment for me with a time window of 11 am - 4 pm. I stayed home all day and they never showed up or called. I finally called them at 4:15 pm and the same person that scheduled my appt. was terribly rude and had a nasty attitude. He said they would be there within the next 30 minutes and that they were trying to call me all day to keep me updated. He was such a liar because I was home all day and never heard from them once!! An absolute horrible way to do business. I suggest finding a nicer, more professional company if you need appliance repair.
In response to Mr. AJ Mabs complaint: Mr. AJ never scheduled service that morning. When he initially spoke to our representative about service he told us he didn't like our rates and to forget it. When he called us at 4:15pm we told him he never scheduled service but we could have a technician there within thirty minutes, which he declined. He was insistent that he had scheduled service and was too busy yelling at us to listen to reason.

I love this company! I had them out to repair my leaking refrigerator. They did a fantastic job. I'm using them from now on.

The technician I had was courteous, pleasant and professional. The cost was fair and the best part is that they fixed it! I am extremely pleased.

Yes the repair man was courtesy, knowledgeable but I was surprised by the cost. They are expensive and make you believe that part of the costs that they quote before they show up could be applied to the repair. They state that they do not make repairs the service call charge is $59. Well I paid $160 for a 15 minute repair job for a $5 plastic plunger. I will not recommend them to any friends. In fact, like other places that have left a sour taste in my mouth, I'll be sure to tell friends where not to go.
This is one place I would not call again.
We make sure that all of our customers are aware of our charges while placing service and again once the technician is in the home. Our service call is indeed free with repair, as stated in the above review. Our technicians give the total cost of repairs before any of the work is done. Mr. Gutowski was aware of the charges before he authorized the technician to repair his appliance.

Art Adams or whatever of the multi names they use is nothing but SCAM ARTISTS!!!!!
I should have been more alert when the service man was more interested in getting me to sign some service paper for the $94.00 than he was in finding the problem with my fridge!! The repair man then tells me it will cost $384.00 to fix the problem, a defrost control and terminator were bad! Well I asked the repair man to please leave my house as I want a second opinion or I may just buy a new fridge for that price!
I called AHS (All Household Services LLC) 1-800-803-8104 and the repair man came the next day. This service tech was nothing but courteous and informative! After he assessed my fridge he informed me that air passages were frozen and needed to be manually defrosted, probably from leaving the door open. He helped me unload the unit and unplug it.
Total cost $65.00 service call!! Thank you AHS.
In closing I should have been more aware of Art Adams Co. since they don't even list an address for the business!!

Without the customer contacting us with the pertinent information regarding this call, we can not research the service(name,date of service,technician). We can not agree nor dispute this complaint. Otherwise, this issue would have been resolved. Had we misdiagnosed this appliance and been given proper documentation from the other service company ,we may have been able to refund the diagnostic fee. The ice build-up will recur if the defrost system is not operating properly. A reputable technician would know that melting the ice will not fix the problem.

Art Adams Appliance Repair is the right company to call when you need it done right the first time!! I called Art Adams Appliance Repair to fix my dishwasher about 5 years ago and it is still working like new today. It was easy to call them last week to repair my refrigerator, because I new that it would get fixed right!!

Art Adams Appliance Repair fixed my ASKO dishwasher the first time they were out! The repairman was very professional and knowledgeable. He gave me the price before he started fixing my dishwasher and there were no surprises. I'm keeping their phone number in case I have any problems with any of my other appliances!! I've had Art Adams out to my house to repair my washer and dryer. They came within the time they promised and worked around my schedule. The technician was uniformed and professional. I wont call anyone else.
