Superior Auto Repair

I absolutely trust Marty with all of my auto repairs... over the years, I have had 2-3 of my cars taken care of by Marty-- a very fair business, very professional, he certainly knows what he is doing. I will not take my vehicles any place else & have recommended friends to go to Superior Auto.

We have used Superior Auto for years to repair a variety of cars. We like them because they diagnose the specific problem and repair it as inexpensively as possible rather than trying to get new parts to put in an older car. They are courteous, have a clean shop, and give good advice including suggestions to try before bringing in the car.

Pontiac dealership said I had a lower and upper gasket leak $685. I took it to Marty at Superior Auto Repair after talking to him on the phone and got a quote of $500 plus tax. I called back and asked if that included a coolant flush and was told that it did. The coolant needed to be done with a lower gasket failure as it usually involves mixed coolant and oil. I also asked if they could put my new plugs in while they had it tore apart and was not told that there was a charge. I asked about replacing a broken windshield washer pump and was told $25 (charged $20, and I had the pump already). So this told me he was quoting labor prices and reinforced my belief that the flush was included and he could put my plugs in while in there.He called after diagnosing the problem as the upper gasket and I guess he couldn't give me an estimate saying he hasn't put a pencil to it yet. Trusting him I suppose too much as he was honest about the upper only being bad, I didn't insist on another quote. W
