Jessica informed me since Consumers had a policy to not cover a Gear box for my washing machine they were going to charge me $298.77 for the part. I got online and It was $179.99...Also, without the contractors discount, I was able to get the part in the area from a service center for $241.53. So why the huge mark up? Consumers changed my appliance coverage which I have paid for 16 years and dropped part of my coverage while raising my premiums again...consumers appliance and this service provider are only out to rip consumers off>PERIOD.
