Enterprise Rent-A-Car

I reserved a minivan 2 1/2 months in advance at the Fayetteville, GA location. The day before a Saturday pickup, the location called to say they had no minivans, but were checking other locations. The next day (Saturday) they still had no vans, but would keep looking and would call me. They referred me to the Business Plus line (it was a business rental). I talked to Business Plus representatives four times in 4 hours. I needed a van to take my staff and equipment to two major conventions. I was told that a report was sent to the district office. They would call me as soon as possible. I went to 2 other locations looking for a minivan before going to the Fayetteville location shortly before closing. All they would say is "I'm sorry."

I drove to the airport just 20 minutes away. While the Enterprise desk had no vans, National did. But, because I got the van the day of, I had to pay $400 more for the van. No one from the district office or the local office lifted a finger to ensure a van was available SOMEWHERE in their system for a business customer, even if I had to pick it up at a different location. I had to go find a van myself...in the Enterprise system...and I did. Enterprise Holdings owns Enterprise, National, and Alamo. Surely they could have found a van to take care of a business customer. Why can't the employees who are paid to do this instead of the customer? I found a van and I had to pay $400 more because Enterprise employees don't care about their business customers.

I needed a van to take my team on a crucial business trip. I couldn't wait another day, because I would miss business at conferences. I counted on Enterprise to have a van for me, as I made a reservation months in advance for my business trip. If you are counting on a reservation at Enterprise...DON'T. I am going to have to rethink my business account with them.

I am a frequent renter & to be honest..my wife is always looking for better deals...but I always end up telling her that I'm not going no other place other that Fayetteville Enterprise.....they are 5 star service.
