Discount Tire

So i go take my car in for new tires i was told to buy warranty to avoid hassles in future when i take my car 2 months later they say they cant do anything i cant find my warranty they cant look it up so anyways i find it a month later and now they will charge me half for a new tire wth i should not pay already paid for warranty will not go back until my tire is replaced free of charge like it should of been

I went to Discount Tire to have a flat fixed. They took it out of my trunk, took it in back, and here is how the morning progressed.



1. 20 minutes passed. They came back and said they could fix my tired.

2. 15 minutes passed. They came back and said no, I needed a new tire.

3. 15 minutes passed. They came back and said they wanted to try one more thing. I was now officially late but I said, go ahead.

4. 20 minutes later, they said it didn't work. I would have to get a new tire.



5. I was showed a tire for my van. Great mileage, low price, installation, everything for about a hundred dollars. I said just go ahead, get it done.



6. I paid for that very nice tire to be put on and balanced, etc.



7. 20 minutes later, the van came out, and I had the new tire on. But IT WAS NOT THE TIRE I HAD BOUGHT. It was some cheap piece of junk 40,000 mile tire. Mind you, I had already paid for the other tire.



8. The nice young man at the counter looked at me with his sweet courteous face and said, "Oh, it doesn't matter, the first one quoted to you wasn't a load bearing tire. See? This one has the same brand name as the one you bought."



Yes, and my last name is Jordan, but that doesn't mean I am black, male, or can place basketball. I have a PhD, and before cars went electronic, I used to do all my own brake work, change alternators, steering harnesses, etc. Just because I am an older female, this well groomed punk thought he could pull one over on me.



I had to get out of town right away; as it was, I was very late getting to Dallas, and I needed a tire as fast as I could get home, put it on my van, and take off. So I did that, but I am still seething with anger that this store cheated me, and now I still have to buy a tire.



You better believe I won't be getting it from Discount Tire.
