Auto Save Transmissions

I have been doing business with this company for several years now and always had good service until the past six months. However, the owner, Billy, appears to have changed the way he does business and treats customers. He no longer stands behind his work. I paid nearly $1,000 for a major auto repair on my truck a few months ago. On my way home from the initial repair, I had to turn around and take it back because I knew right away there was still a problem. I ended up having to take the truck back five times and the repair was never completed nor corrected. I personally spoke with the owner each time and he was aware there was a continuous, existing problem and assured me each time "it had been taken care of". Wrong. Only last month, another major repair was needed I was told. The owner assured me the estimate would be free, as they had always been in the past. When he found out I was not going to give him another $1,800 to make repairs on a truck that was not even worth that much money, my "free" estimate suddenly became $204. If all you need is very basic auto maintenance, such as an oil change, a new battery, or new tires, that can be done at Auto Save with no problem. Anything else, I highly recommend you go elsewhere. I certainly wish I had done that. Lesson learned.
