Walls are paper thin!!! Called the office about neighborhooda loud music at All HOURS ... only response was to call the VB non emergency police #... Dogs barking at all hours. DOG CRAP everywhere!!

!!! No designated parking, be prepared to park buildings away and carry groceries in the rain!!!!

This place is terrible. For every complaint I lodged about a noisy neighbor and every time I felt unsafe because of sheisty neighbors, I will leave a negative review. The people who live here are trashy. The property is dirty, trash everywhere, dog feces as well. The grounds are not well maintained. It looks like a dump. I cannot count how many times a small child (with no parent in sight) has darted around the parking lot while cars are speeding through. The cops are always being called. The walls are paper thin and I'm convinced none of my neighbors work, they just enjoy smoking, playing LOUD music, and beating each other up. It is noisy, smelly, smoky, unsafe, and not worth the price. WHAT A MISTAKE it was moving here.

Will get every penny out of you they can, all while making you live in a dump and exclaiming "we live our residents!".

Please save yourself alot of headache and run from Linkhorn Bay!! All the bad reviews are true! Wish I had listened. The office staff is terrible and honestly don't care about the tennants. The grounds are covered in DUCK Poop and they refuse to do anything about it. Tennants are allowed to store any kind of trash, clothes, boxes on their patios and balconies.

Linkhorn bay is a great community to live in! For the price and bein so close to the beach you really can not beat it. The office staff

Is always friendly and helpful especially upper management. The grounds are well kept and i love the dog park! The jet noise is something that linkhorn can not control.. Overall i enjoy living here!!

I would rather live in the Norfolk Ghetto than in Linkhorn the people in the leasing office a more crooked and willing to take your money for their stupidity than help a paying customer I will not renew my contract with them i would rather pull off my toenails with pliers. Jet noise all night only have of the electrical works and some of it is down right scary owe and don't forget the bathtub flooded with sewage i wouldn't rent anything that PRG real estate put its name on.

Uggghhhhh... I am a single father, military, who moved here with my two year old daughter in July, 2012. First half month living at Linkhorn Bay apartments: 1)Refrigerator- Quit working, $130 in wasted food 2) Previous owner- Owned cat, urinated EVERYWHERE! My daughter's room constantly smells of cat urine. $150 spent on trying to get rid of smell. No luck. 3) Carpet in bedroom closet- Flooded from bad water pipes. Clothing and military uniforms smell of mold. 4) Toilet- Backed up and flooded apartment. Spent two days in a hotel with my daughter. $300 to replace towels, clothing, rugs that were saturated with sewer water. Dominion power energy bill to run FIVE industrial strength dryers to simply dry the sewer water for two days? Don't ask... 5)

Kitchen sink- Currently backed up. 6) Bathtub- Entire floor has peeled away. Was promised that the bathtub would be recoated/repaired prior to my daughter and I moving in on July. Hasn't happened yet. 7) My daughter has been developing some disturbing skin rashes. Hard to tell if it was from the sewer water, the previous tenant's cat urine, or some other as yet undiscovered issue with the apartment. 8) Best part about Linkhornbay Apartments... The constant jet noise (Comforting for those who have served multiple tours in a combat environment.)

I would give this place no stars if possible!!! DO NOT MOVE IN HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO PUT YOUR HEALTH AND LIFE AT RISK! My apt flooded every time It rained we called continuley about it for over a year and no one would fix our leaking windows and celling. Eventually it got so bad that our carpet molded from the continuous rain and black mold grew so bad that we called a health inspector out and our apt was deemed unfit to live in! We told the complex who agreeded to let us switch to a different apt in the complex but charged us for the move and forced us to sign another year lease! The 'new apt' in the complex was on the second floor, it had a balcony with a broken floor board that was never fixed in our entire year there despite repeated phone calls and promises to fix it. Our outlets started sparking once when we plugged in our microwave, we called maitenance who did not respond as it was after hours, we called the fire department who came out to fix it. This was by far the worst place on earth to live in and is way over priced! Not to mention the jet noise is so bad you will think planes are landing in your living room!
